Requirements to apply for a Montana Real Estate License
Be at least 18 years of age
Provide evidence of completion of 10th grade from an accredited high school or equivalent
Complete 60 hours of pre-licensing instruction within the last 24 months from a school and instructor approved by the Board.
Pass the Montana Salesperson Broker Real Estate Examination with a score of 80% on the uniform portion and 70% on the state portion within the last 12 months.
Pay all necessary pre-licensing education and licensing fees
Complete approved 60 hours of pre-licensing course work within the past 24 months
Pass the Montana Salesperson Broker Real Estate Examination with a score of 80% on the uniform portion and 70% on the state portion within the last 12 months
Submit application and fees to the Montana Board of Realty Regulation
I have an active Real Estate License in Alberta Canada, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah or Wyoming.
